i’m uniquely qualified to be an oc superior court judge

I’m Kimberly La Salle, the daughter of an Air Force Chief Master Sergeant. Married for 22 years with three wonderful teenage children.

As a Former Deputy District Attorney, Deputy Public Defender, and Children and Family Rights lawyer, with 27 years of court experience, I’ll bring common sense, fairness, extensive experience, leadership and integrity to our courts while strictly following the law and upholding the rights of crime victims.

I’m proud we’re building a campaign coalition committed to judicial independence. I hope I can count on your support in this effort.

Having served in over a dozen courthouses, I’ve learned much from effective judges. My broad legal and community service experience allows me to recognize many cross-over areas to assist in developing innovative and effective interventions and programs.

EXPERIENCE: I’ve served the OC, SD and LA county communities for the past 27 years including terms as Deputy District Attorney and as Deputy Public Defender.

VISION: Having worked with the most vulnerable populations in our communities — domestic violence survivors, disabled veterans, neurodivergent children, at-risk adolescents, and adults with autism, ADHD, learning disabilities, and mental heath issues — I have a vision to expand our understanding of Public Safety and supporting access to the legal system.

DEDICATION: Through my career and private life I have proven my dedication to the youth and the wider community of Orange County by creating and implementing dozens and dozens of programs to help youth avoid the legal system.

PEER RECOGNITION: Throughout my legal career, I have been recognized as a community and legal leader, most recently nominated by the OC Women Lawyers Association and selected by the California Women Lawyers Association as the recipient of the 2022 Fay Stender Award.

TRACK RECORD: A proven track record of competence, compassion, integrity and impartiality.

OC LOCAL: I’m a UCI and Loyola Law graduate who has been married for 22 years with three wonderful teenaged children and reside in San Juan Capistrano.

I’ve served the youth and community of Orange County by creating and teaching complementary programing for Orangewood Foundation, The Constitutional Rights Foundation, Orange County Bar Association, National Charity League, Orange County Superior Court, Chapman Dale E. Fowler School of Law, UCI Law School, Western School of Law, St. Edwards the Confessor Parish School, JSerra, Santa Ana High School Elizabeth G. Macias Legal Studies Program, Veterans, the California Judges Association, the Laura House Domestic Violence Program, and many others.
